The article presents the experience of using high spinal anesthesia in abdominal surgery in 52 patients. We developed and proposed a technique for this type of local anesthesia in case of diseases of upper abdominal organs, evaluated indicators of central hemodynamics. The research had shown that all the studied groups had a decrease in central hemodynamics, but the most pronounced it was in patients who underwent endotracheal anesthesia and epidural anesthesia, less pronounced - in patients who underwent high spinal anesthesia.
