Evaluation of survival rates for prostate cancer in Samara oblast during 2003-2012

The analysis of indexes of oncological patients with prostate cancer survival in the territory of Samara oblast during 2003-2012 which showed that 1-, 3-, the 5-year-old observed, corrected and relative survival of the patients with prostate cancer registered in 2008-2012, above than at the patients considered during 2003-2007 is carried out. The highest rates of observed, corrected and relative survival are registered at the patients with 1 stage of a disease registered in 2008-2012, the lowest - at the patients registered in 2003-2007 with the 4th stage of disease. The held anticarcinogenic events directed on early diagnostics and also use in algorithms of treatment the hi-tech techniques allowed to increase survival in group of the patients with prostate cancer registered in 2008-2012 in comparison with group of the patients considered in 2003-2007.
