At present, lightweight concrete (aerated concrete) is increasingly being used in low-rise construction. Unfortunately, in our country lightweight concrete construction in seismic areas does not have sufficient regulatory^ framework. Existing building codes and regulations ^ for masonry do not take into account some ^ features of the work of lightweight concrete blocks. This also applies to the requirements for seismic resistance of buildings and structures. The article presents the calculation of the walls of aerated concrete blocks to determine the seismic resistance of the bearing structures of a low-rise building. The method of determining the calculated seismic load, its distribution between the piers and the calculation of the bearing capacity of the shear force is presented.
