Evaluation of prognostic significance of age and psychosocial risk factors for the occurrence of suicides among workers of locomotive brigades of the Transbaikalian railway

The aim of this work was the study of the prognostic significance of age and psychosocial risk factors of suicide in 7959 workers of locomotive brigades of the Transbaikalian railway. From 2008 to 2013 in the observed group occurred 22 cases of completed suicides, which in the volume of this sample were assessed by statistical analysis. It is established that predictor of suicide in its inverse relationship was the effect of age, as well as the combination of the effects of age and stress. The proportion of individuals who are able to commit suicide in the volume of this sample, defined in 0,5% with immediate risk of suicide in 1420,7±475,9 days.
