The aim of our research was to study the radioprotective efficacy of the radioprophylactic microbial polyantigen developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution FTsTRB-VNIVI on the body of intact and irradiated animals. The biological effect of the drug on the body of intact animals - white mice, white rats, rabbits, and sheep - was evaluated. it was found that a single injection of the drug did not adversely affect animals. In this case, the hematological parameters of immunized animals did not have significant differences from similar indicators of the control. In immunized animals, an increase in humoral and cellular factors of immunity was noted. The introduction of the drug contributed to an increase in the survival of experimental laboratory animals compared with the control by 70-75 %. For sheep, the excess was 66.6 %. Thus, the management of IPAG does not harm the animal organism, leads to an increase in immunity factors, and has a pronounced radioprotective effect.
