Rbsuits of internal drainage and pancreatoduodenectomy in treatment of patients with chronic pancreatitis

There are studied the experience of surgical treatment used on 199 patients with different forms of chronic pancreatitis. In these patients the pseudocyst of the pancreas was observed in 176 (88.4%) cases. Internal drainage was perfomed in 158 (79.4%) patients (group I) and pancreatoduodenectomy was been in 41 (20.6%) (group II). Postoperative complications in group I took place in 19 (12%) patients, in group II - in 12 (29.3%). Postoperative mortality amounted at 0.6% and 2.4% respectively. In long term period 17 (16.2%) patients died after internal drainage, after рancreatoduodenectomy - 6 (18,6%). Repeated surgical interventions in I group were perfomed in 18 (17.1%) patients, recurrence of pseudocyst was observed in 10 (9.5%) cases or recurrence of pain - in 8 (7.6%). After resection of the proximal repeated surgical interventions were made in 8 (24.2%) patients, 1 (3.1%) patient due to recurrence of pseudocyst and 7 (21.8%) patients because of recurrence of pain. Recurrence of pain was docked sympathetic by denervation in 83.3% patients. Initially low quality of life standart of improved and depend on the nature of the operation.
