The article deals with the problem of organization of the process aimed at the education of orphans to the culture of law in the space of boarding school. The results presented in this article - theoretical analysis and study of scientific approaches of teachers and scientists evaluation indicators of legal culture, development and scientific justification of criteria to measure the components of legal culture in orphans and children left without parental care. The methodological basis consists of system, personal, cultural, activity, polysubject (dialogical) approaches to the study of social and pedagogical phenomena; pedagogical ideas of humanization of education. As research methods used, empirical-observation, individual and group conversations, interviews, questionnaires, testing, study of school documentation (personal files of students, class journals, minutes of meetings, meetings) and pedagogical experiment; theoretical - analysis of philosophical and pedagogical literature...
