Assessment of garden carrot varieties according to productivity characteristics

The article describes the results of studies on domestic varieties of the garden carrot under the conditions of the forest-steppe in the Ob region of the Altai territory. The variety of Dayana had good results in productivity: 84.4 t/ha in 2016 and 72.1 t/ha in 2017 as well as in the weight of root crops: 171g in 2016 and 156g in 2017. Therefore, it is possible to rate the variety of Dayana as a variety of an extensive type. The variety fulfils its biological potential under any conditions of cultivation.
