Evaluation of unemployment in the Republic of Buryatia

Unemployment entails squandering a huge scale the main productive forces of society, namely the labor force; a significant reduction in potential GDP and national income; significant productive government spending on unemployment benefits, retraining of unemployed workers and their employment. Obviously, when the incomplete use of available labor resources, the economic system works without reaching its production capacity limits and there can be no rise in the country's economy. The article deals with the distribution of the number of unemployed by age group, level of education, unem-ployment reasons, job search methods, duration of job search. Also analyzed the num-ber of unemployed people who are registered in the state employment services.
