Evaluation of higher and postgraduate professional education in Baikal region on the basis of data base

Statistics of higher and postgraduate education in the Baikal Region in comparison with other entities of the Siberian Federal District, as well as with the average data in the Russian Federation as a whole is analyzed in the article. Additional calculations that give a more complete assessment of the status and dynamics of the higher and postgraduate education development in the region are performed.
