Estimation of strategic opportunities of regional development in the light of carrying out of Olympiad Sochi-2014

The article is devoted to economic estimation of strategic opportunities of southern region in the light of carrying out Olympiad Sochi-2014. The authors consider the financial matter of the project: investments into infrastructure of the region, into construction of modern sports objects; influence of the future Olympiad on the basic economic characteristics of the region. Also investment appeal of the Republic Adygeya as a potential participant of the given project is estimated.
