Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with structural changes in the sectoral employment structure in Russian regions. Attention is paid to the comparison of structural changes in the sectoral employment structure and gross value added, the similarities and differences in the realm of such changes are shown. Assessment of regional asymmetry of structural changes, their speed, intensity and subsequent positioning of Russia's regions on the basis of the results obtained allows to determine the existing regional differentiation, while identifying groups of Russian regions, in which structural changes in employment and gross value added vary from small to very significant. The analysis indicates not only the presence of typical changes in the structure of the employed population, such as a decrease in employment in agriculture and industrial production and an increase in employment in the service sector, but also shows the existing intra-sectoral regional differences.
