Assessment of tourism potential Republic Buryatia

The article is devoted to tourism and recreation as one of the most intensively developing areas of the economy. The author considers the problems of development of special economic zones for tourism and recreation (TRZ) and analyzes the possibility of the formation and development of TRZ Republic of Buryatia. On the basis of expert assessments analyze the factors of competitive advantage in the region, identified the strengths and weaknesses of regional development.
