Assessment of satisfaction with social benefits for certain categories of students at a technical university

It is noted that one of the important objects of the social protection system are certain categories of students who are most exposed to social and economic risks and have the right to benefits provided by the state. Social support for such categories of students is provided by universities. The article provides an analysis of the state and considers the prospects for the development of the system of social payments for students in the Russian Federation. The influence of social payments on the educational process is shown, their role in the financial well-being of students is determined. Based on the results of a survey conducted by the authors among recipients of social payments - students of a technical university - a conclusion is made about the need to improve the effectiveness of social support measures.
