The article assesses the level of concentration of high-tech industries in the Russian economy. The concentration level of five subgroups and three classes of high-tech industries was analyzed using such basic indicators as the concentration index and the Herfindahl-Hirschman index. The study concluded that the concentration of high-tech industries in the Russian economy is based on the calculated indicators.
