Assessment of the contribution of the regions of the Far Eastern federal district to the development of the national economy

The article examines the conceptual foundations of the development of the national economy from the point of view of the contribution of each region to the process of socio-economic transformations in the country, deciphers the concept of “northern regions”, and evaluates the contribution of individual northern and Far Eastern regions to the development of the country. In the process of analyzing the ratings of the socioeconomic situation of the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, the level of development of each region and the dynamics of the final ratings in the period 2019-2023 are revealed.
