The actual task of modern industrial economy is to assess the impact of digitalcyber technologies on the business processes of Industry 4.0 factories and theirvalue chains. The study covers the types of cyber technologies in accordancewith the existing domestic and foreign classification systems, the distribution ofcyber technologies by specialization of operating activities of factories, and theeconomic effects arising from changes in the business processes of factories. It isshown that the main impact of digital cyber technologies on business performanceis to reduce the total duration of the life cycle of products analyzed at the stagesof cyber design, cyber production and cyber maintenance, and the correspondingtransformation of integral value added curves, the configuration of which at thelimit of factory business process optimization cycles has the potential to changefrom the classical concave ("smile") state to convex ("frown") state.
