Evaluation of the influence of a new hepatoprotective feed additive on biochemical blood markers of junior sterlet

The article presents the results of an experiment to evaluate the degree of hepatoprotective activity of a veterinary hepatoprotective feed additive included in the composition of a complete feed for young sturgeon fish. A positive effect of the studied feed additive on the main biochemical markers of sterlet blood was determined after a 60-day course of use. The use of the product led to significant improvements in the hepatological profile of fish, a decrease in lipid peroxidation indicators and the level of medium-molecular peptides in comparison with the control analogues. The results of the experiment indicate a decrease in the feed load on the liver and normalization of metabolic processes in the body of the experimental fish as a result of using a new hepatoprotective feed additive.
