Assessment of the influence of occupational risk factors on immune system and the level of oncomarkers for employees of electrode plant in Chelyabinsk

The state of immune system and the levels of oncomarkers were studied in employees exposed to occupational risk factors. Practically one-way changes in immune status and the equal frequency in detecting the elevated levels of oncomarkers were revealed in persons exposed and non-exposed to occupational risk factors under the condition of industrial electrode production. Persons with high levels of oncomarkers had more pronounced changes in immune status and the presence of occupational risk factors produced the increase in the level of greater number of oncomarkers.
