Influence assessment of the heat capacity for organic fuels with varying degrees of metamorphism on the amount of pyrolysis heat costs

Бесплатный доступ

Energy sector has a significant negative anthropogenic impact on the environment. One of the alternative technologies for energy supply and reducing the environmental impact is pyrolysis, in which the heating of raw materials is carried out in an oxygen-free environment. To carry out pyrolysis, it is necessary to expend thermal energy, the value of which largely depends on the heat capacity of fuels. The value of the heat capacity depends on the type of raw material, origin, etc. Determination of heat capacity is carried out in the presence of a certain instrument base. In this regard, the heat capacity values of different biomass types and fossil solid fuels, determined experimentally (ED) and taken from literary sources (LD), are considered in the article. Based on the heat capacities, the thermal costs for pyrolysis are calculated. The heat costs of pyrolysis are calculated based on the heat capacities. The difference between the obtained values of heat costs based on ED and LD, with the exception of coal, is noted.
