Assessment of the reproduction process in dairy cattle

The article analyzes the level of the reproduction process of dairy cattle breeding in the structure of the agricultural sector of the economy of the agrarian region. The main negative trends in the reproduction mechanism of the industry both in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and in the Altai Territory are noted. An assessment is made of the level of state support for commodity producers of raw marketable milk in terms of fodder production, as the main mechanism for the reproduction of raw marketable milk. It is concluded that it is expedient to revise the system of regional state support, since the negative trend of reducing the number of dairy herds, the gross volume of raw milk requires systemic measures to increase the level of attractiveness of dairy cattle breeding and its sustainable development.
