Assessing the opportunities for interregional integration in the strategies for socio-economic development of the Central Black Earth macroregion

The article presents the results of the analysis of strategies for the socio-economic development of the regions of the Central Black Earth macroregion - Belgorod, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Kursk and Tambov. The analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the designated documents in the context of interregional integration is carried out on the basis of evaluation criteria, the value of which was determined on a scale with indicators from 0 to 5. It is emphasized that these documents reflect the specifics of interaction between the subjects of the federation with each other in order to acquire preferences in socio-economic development for each of them. Spatial integration opens up prospects for combining the capabilities of different territories of the country. It was revealed that some of the analyzed documents need to be finalized. It is emphasized that the creation of documents defining the goals and objectives of regional development in the future should be based on the key provisions of state policy in this area. It is concluded that the scheme of evaluation of regional development strategies proposed in the article will allow their developers to form an idea of the need to ensure compliance of such documents with modern requirements.
