Estimation of possibilities of application of non-parametric criterion for an algorithm of segmentation of images

The article is devoted to the problem of image processing. One of the tasks of image processing is their segmentation, including the selection of the contours of various objects. To date, a sufficiently large number of contouring algorithms have been developed, researched and systematized. With different efficiency, these algorithms work when there are noises of different nature and intensity on the images. With this in mind, in this paper, we propose a variant of the algorithm for isolating the contours of image objects that is noncritical to the nature of noise and has high efficiency with significant intensity.
