Evaluation of the relationship between level of motorization and accidents in the regions of the Siberian federal district

. One of the characteristic processes of the modern world is the active growth of road transport. In addition to the obvious advantages, such dynamics can have an impact on the accident rate. The paper presents a correlation analysis of the level of motorization and accidents on the example of subjects of SFO. The obtained values confirmed the hypothesis that a large number of vehicles require a more competent approach to the organization of traffic, but does not have a direct significant impact on the number of accidents.
