Assessment of temperature values in tribosystems under conditions of boundary and mixed friction modes

The question of thermal analysis of the friction process for the case where the contact area can be divided into two parts was considered: the area of mixed friction at the beginning of contact with the f1 friction factor and the area of boundary friction with the friction factor f2 > f1, located near the end of the contact. Calculation dependencies have been obtained to estimate the temperature distribution in the contact bodies and on the contact surface. These dependencies are closed, contain only parameters set by condition, and do not contain unknown values. The applied method of thermal analysis is applicable to friction pairs of any configuration and any technological systems or their subsystems, regardless of what work processes are carried out in these systems.
