Assessment of efficiency of use of budgetary means of higher education institutions

The article is devoted to assessing the effectiveness of government spending on higher education institutions. The article examines the concept of benchmarking in state and municipal government, the stages in the creation of its system. The effectiveness of budget expenditures is assessed based on a comparison of 8 identical universities.
