The essay about the history of Siberian ancient bronze casting and non-ferrous metal-working productions research

The publication present the analysis of the main stages of the scientific development in the field of ancient bronzes, bronze casting and metalworking. Special attention is given to the development of this study on the materials of Siberia. The basic stages of the history of the study of ancient bronze and non-ferrous metal working of this region are isolated, are indicated their special features relative to the periodization of the development of Russian archaeology accepted. Significant attention is given to contemporary studies and to the trends of development of this direction in the science.
