Sketches on the History of Physical Culture and Sport in Divnogorsk in the 1980-s

The purpose of the article is to analyze the development of physical culture and sports in Divnogorsk in the 1980-s. Objectives: to highlight the positive and negative aspects of sports development and functioning of the City Sports Committee. As a result of the analysis the author came to the conclusion that in the period under consideration in Divnogorsk city competitions were held every year, the material and technical base was improving, the number of TRP badge holders was increasing. There were also shortcomings, for example, problems with personnel policy, a large number of coaches did not have proper education.
