Cleaning various grain crops from impurities on a fractionator with a system of homogeneous sieves with solid pitched boards

Currently, ESSUTM has developed a fractionator with a system of homogeneous sieves with solid pitched boards installed between the sieves, which allows you to immediately select a large part of the main grain (70-80%) of the basic conditions due to the difference in the probability of sieving the components of the grain material in the opening of the sieves. To assess the possibility of using a fractionator with a system of homogeneous sieves with continuous pitched boards for cleaning grain of various crops from short and long impurities, experiments were carried out on rye and barley grain. An analysis of the experimental data showed that the process of cleaning rye and barley on a fractionator with a system of homogeneous sieves with continuous pitched boards does not fundamentally differ from the process of separation of wheat seeds, i.e. the distribution of their constituent components in fractions is the same. The experiments demonstrate the possibility of using the same sieves for the processing of wheat, rye and barley. More than 80% of the main grain (rye, barley) contained in the fractions can be obtained with a purity of more than 98%. At the same time, crops (rye, barley) meet the requirements of the basic conditions for food grain.
