Ode “God” by R. G. Derzhavin

In the article, G. Derzhavin's ode "God" is analyzed in the light of the similarity of her author's artistic thinking with the traditions of Byzantine theology. It indicates the direct roll calls of the images he uses with those found in the creations of the Fathers of the Church, which is due to the uniqueness of the spiritual path of the ascent to God, which opens to GR Derzhavin.
