What kind of events can reflect the life of a single person, of a nation, of the whole world? What layers of reality must have been captured by the historian in order to get as complete life reflection as possible? The same event can be seen and interpreted in different ways. Should a historical narrative mention the smallest details of the past and what details can be defined as “the smallest”? The great Russian historian S. Solovyov had realized that clothing and appearance were of great importance in the historical context of Peter the Great’s reforms.
