One quick method for reducing quadratic forms to the canonical form

This article considers a matrix method for finding a linear change of variables that reduces a quadratic form to a canonical form. The analysis of differential equations of the 2nd order and their system is carried out. On the basis of the study, the positive aspects of the described technique for students of the information technology profile are accentuated.
