Purposeful study of Koryak ritual tools for fire getting (steal and fire boards) was not done earlier. The importance of these artifacts study is due the high informative characteristics, reflecting the evolution of economy and culture of the north-eastern paleoasian people, inter ethnic relations and the influence of one people to another. For the first time the Authors put in to the science use the ideas of steal tools of Taigonoss people - the most western group of reindeer-breeder Koryak. The detailed description of boards and related things and the ritual complexes is given. Multi meaningful semantics of the wood steals, resulted from the economic specialization of Koryak, i.e., transformation of the appropriate economy to the productive one, is traced. Two types of the fire tools of the Taigonoss people - «arm» and «armless» were distinguished on the basis of morphological differences and peculiarities of ceremony's activity. Presence of trapezium-like and rectangular «legs» in both types of the boards we suggest to interpret as the reflection of the sex differentiation. The prevailing in the literature, mail attribution of the steal boards as determined as related to rudimentary norm-law ideas of Koryak reindeer-breeders.
