Protection of geographical indications in the Russian Federation

In 2018, a bill was introduced into the State Duma on amending Part 4 of the RF Civil Code that provided for adopting of the new means of geographical indication individualisation. The article analyses the suggested changes against the background of the international and European law approaches and the court practice.
