Environmental protection from contamination by radioactive substances and materials

This article is devoted to consideration of issues for the processing of nuclear waste and the analysis of problems of legal protection of the environment from contamination by radioactive substances and materials. The author notes that in the current environmental situation there is a need for an international Treaty on compensation for nuclear damage, to regulate the global international legal relations, due to the use of nuclear energy. In conclusion, it is noted that the necessary legal framework that would ensure a unified methodological management of the radiation monitoring system and a unified strategy for the equipment instrumentation and means of radiation control like settings of livelihood and living environment of people and economic objects.
