Public mental health care - ways of problem resolution (on example of the Altay kray)

In Altay Kray model of multi-level system of managing the psychiatric service of the region has been developed and realized. Its basic compounds are public mental health and psychiatric service activity monitoring; organizing the work according to the principle of program-target planning with monitoring of the indices of structural subdivisions, assessment of their efficacy regarding degree of achievements of program-target indices; structural and functional reforming the psychiatric service directed at increase of efficacy and provision of accessibility of specialized assistance, integration of service into primary care network; introduction of resource-saving organizing-medical technologies; development of interdepartmental interaction in prevention an early diagnosis of mental pathology.
