Protection of rare and disappearing kinds of animals in system of special pretected natural territories in Kemerovo oblast

Work is devoted to an estimation of role of system of existing specially protected natural territories in Kemerovo oblast in preservation of a vertebrate animals biological variety. The developed system of protected areas initially was focused on protection only the hunting animals and consequently does not promote maintenance of species diversity of vertebrate animals as a whole, including rare kinds. At the same time a number of unique places where the share of simultaneously inhabiting vulnerable kinds is more, than in many protection regimes is revealed. The territories requiring prime measures of protection are specified.
