Biphenyl 2,3-dioxygenase (BDO) is a key enzyme involved in bacterial degradation of biphenyl/polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB). The structure of the active site determines the range of recyclable PCB congeners. We have designed the degenerate PCR-primers to target a region, encoding the large subunit of biphenyl dioxygenase. The oligonucleotides will be applied to screen to BDO large subunit encoding genes of bacteria belonging to the order Actinomycetales

Polychlorinated biphenyl (pcb), bacteria, порядок actinomycetales, order actinomycetales, degenerate pcr-primers, гены bpha1, bpha1 gene, biphenyl 2, 3-dioxygenase
