Olympic venues: problems of financing and contents

Article is devoted to the analysis of the Olympic Sochi-2014 project which became the largest international investment - the construction project. In Russia there was no simultaneous implementation of several projects in one city yet and their implementation demanded from the country of huge investments on designing and creation of infrastructure, a construction, operation of sporting venues and safety. Russia managed to prepare all objects for the Sochi Olympic Games. However the Russian Olympic Sochi-2014 megaproject was beyond generation of profit from carrying out. Influence of the Olympic Games on economic development of the region in which they were held can it will be shown only through 3-5 years, and long-term effects in 10 and more years.
