Article deals with the problem of providing surgical care to patients with complicated colorectal cancer as an example of tumor colonic obstruction. Results of the treatment 116 patients with this pathology in surgical hospitals and specialized cancer center. The implementation of the principles of cancer (central ligation of the main vessels, complete mesocolic and mesorectum excision, histological examination of the tissue along the line of resection, nerve-sparing surgery, the performance of combined surgery) is potential to improve the treatment of patients with complicated forms of colon cancer.
