Increasing the seismic resistance of existing buildings is an economic, social and environmental research topic related to ensuring the safety of people and the safety of buildings during earthquakes. Based on the analysis, it was revealed that increasing the reliability of building frames under dynamic influence can be carried out in several ways. There are basically two areas of work: these are measures to reduce the seismic impact on the building and increase the load-bearing capacity of the load-bearing structure. Seismic reinforcement of nodal joints of structures of existing buildings is also relevant in order to increase their resistance to dynamic impacts. Traditional reinforcement methods are steel cladding (for beams and columns) or the use of modern composite materials. In this paper, we consider the possibility of increasing the seismic resistance of multi-apartment frame buildings by using wall panels made of cross-glued wood (WPC) as enclosing structures using friction dampers in the nodal joints of walls with floor discs of buildings. A methodology has been developed, a stand has been made, and experimental studies have been conducted on the effect of various types of combined gaskets on the operation of friction dampers. to reduce the dynamic effects on nodal connections.
