Knowledge representation is one of the most important directions of research in the field of knowledge engineering. This article discusses a new approach to development the models of knowledge representation, concerned with ontology. Ontology is a hierarchical structure of multiple classes describing the subject domain and that can be used as a basis for knowledge base.
