Operation "successor" or clean elections?

The article analyzes the pre-election situation in the Russian Federation, the tasks facing the government in holding future elections. The author interprets the possibility of elections’ postponement, and makes a forecast about a possible successor. A particular attention is paid to the so-called presidential reserve, both formal and, in the opinion of the author, quite real. In conclusion, the author remarks that to anticipate, and even more to predict the power activity in Russia is an almost unrealistic task, due to the presence of many undercurrents, unaccountable players and interests, as well as regular extraordinary situations that arise both in external and internal policy of the country.
