Operative treatment of deformation forefoot in patients with rheumatoid arthritis

The analysis results of surgical treatment of 16 patients with forefoot deformation on rheumatoid arthritis background. The characteristic feature is the complex deformation of the rigid forefoot. Patients performed resection arthroplasty metatarsophalangeal and interphalangeal joints arthrodesis first metatarsophalangeal joint. Obtained good results of treatment in 57,9 % patients. Average score rose Kitaoka from 21,5 to 46,7 points out of 75 possible.
