Surgical treatment of transverse platypodia using transosseous osteosynthesis

The work deals with the problems of surgical elimination of transverse platypodia. Valgus deformity of the first toe, which accompanied the transverse platypodia, was corrected acutely, and the metatarsal bone was deflected to the plantar side by the angle, calculated before surgery according to the data of computer study individually for each patient, for the purpose of increasing the foot transverse arch.
