At the Federal Research Center V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK) there were developed lines resistant to races from A to G using sources of different origin. The lines were designated the letter abbreviation: RGL1, RGL2, RGR1, RGR2, and RGV. We presented description of these lines according to the testing procedures for distinctness, uniformity and stability “Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.)” cited in a document RTG/01/3 “General introduction on the tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability and composition of description” dated 22.07. 2002, No. 12-06/52 (Official Bulletin of the State Commission No. 6, 2002). The obtained lines differed among themselves in a number of morphological traits, such as: plant height, shape and color of the leaf, ray flower, duration of a period from germination to plants flowering and others. Data on the characterization of broomrape race G-resistant lines can be used in breeding practice to develop hybrids.
