Description of the normal shock wave-turbulence interaction based on turbulence DRSM models

Бесплатный доступ

The aim of the work is to choose the optimal differential Reynolds stress model (DRSM) and its further modification, which correctly describe the main characteristics of turbulence downstream of the interaction with a normal shock wave. The convergence of numerical schemes solving the Reynolds stress equation is studied. Modification of the SSG model is made and the necessity of modeling the «pressure-dilatation» correlation is shown to correctly describe the transition of turbulence through a compression zone. The independence of the Reynolds stresses on the shape of the profile of the mean velocity field is demonstrated.
