Descriptive predicates with verbs of motion in multi-structural languages: the comparative aspect

Actual aspects of comparative analysis of the structural and semantic features of descriptive predicates with verbs of movement in languages with different structures are considered in the light of potential difficulties in mastering them in foreign languages. The necessity of a systematic linguodidactic study of descriptive predicates with verbs of movement in order to present them to a foreign audience is shown. The results of a comparative study of descriptive predicates in Russian, German, Latvian, French, and Kazakh are highlighted. The ways of using the obtained results, as well as directions for further research in this area, are determined.
