The article deals with the issue of hermeneutic-linguistics approach to the analysis of grammar categories as base structures fixing the characteristics of linguistic conciseness. The author analyses various points of view on the category of «Subjonctif» in modern French and offers a completely new understanding of this grammar category as a special way of representation the opposition I - the other in the French language culture
