Determination of income in the framework of illegal gambling

The article deals with the issue of income received from illegal gambling activities. The article examines the modernization of Article 171.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the framework of income as a sign of a criminal act from the moment of its introduction into criminal legislation and in the current version. The author notes the peculiarity of intent within the framework of the norm under study and its direct relationship with the estimated income. The conducted research allowed us to conclude that it is necessary to consolidate the concept of income in the notes to Article 171.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
